๐Ÿ”ฅ Dian Dincin Buchmanโ€™s Herbal Medicine ๐Ÿ’š

I donโ€™t read. Ever. Itโ€™s a waste of my time. I get distracted in my head and forget what Iโ€™ve readโ€ฆ UNLESS Iโ€™m learning something and itโ€™s about plants or animals ๐Ÿ˜ So someone recommended this book and Iโ€™m hooked. Itโ€™s pretty outside today and I should be out there doing something productive.. and I will be .. after just a few more pagesโ€ฆ ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ˜Š plus I found it used at betterworldbooks.com for like $5!! ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿคฉ

๐Ÿงก Tulip Poplar Seeds ๐ŸŒณ

We had to cut down this huge tulip poplar today to have our septic system installed and it made me want to cry! Thereโ€™s no telling how long that tree has been standing there. After it fell, I looked over and saw SEEDS!! So I collected 1,000 and planted them in buckets today .. so hopefully weโ€™ll have some baby tulip poplars in the spring. ๐Ÿ’› The seed pods reminded me of little witch brooms too! ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿงน

๐Ÿ’œ Coleus babies ๐Ÿ’š

Two years ago, the first thing I grew in my aero garden was coleus. I put them in two big pots outside and they grew so huge!! I brought them inside for the winter and they came back last spring. Last winter, they were in the little greenhouse when the top blew off and it got so cold, they didnโ€™t make it. ๐Ÿ˜”
Once it started to warm up, I started seeing little babies in all my other pots.. the ones that died planted their seeds everywhere before they left! These are a few of their babies. Now theyโ€™re blooming and making seeds of their own. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’š

๐ŸŒ Last nightโ€™s Full Harvest Moon ๐ŸŒ

๐Ÿคฉ The last super moon of 2023 ๐Ÿคฉ

๐ŸŒ• This final supermoon is called the Harvest Moon in the northern hemisphere because it occurs close to the September equinox.

๐ŸŒ• When people were harvesting by hand, this bright supermoon helped light up the evening after the Sun went down, which gave some much-needed extra time to get the harvest in before winter.
