More baby tomatoes got to move into the greenhouse today before the storms came. It’s so much fun thinking of each of the great friends I’ve been able to trade with when I see their seeds growing here! These seeds have come from as close as an hour from here .. to as far away as Denmark .. how fun!
I never got my pawpaw seeds planted since it started snowing right as I was about to plant them and I realized my bag of soil was frozen… 😢
Now everything has thawed and it’s been raining nonstop today but it let up just long enough for me to plant the 8 buckets of pawpaw seeds my daddy saved me from his trees. 🌱💚
I planted 24 little bags of herbs yesterday and 28 bags of flowers today.. just trying to make the most of these rainy days!! 🌸💚
It’s still white and snowy outside but it’s starting to look GREEN in here!! 💚🌱💚
And today’s high was 44.. which felt like a heat wave compared to the past week’s constant freezing temps.
These little babies are keeping me sane while I’m waiting for spring to get here!!
I got new grow lights .. and planted these seeds on Sat.. so now, January is the new July. 🤩🥳😍

Omg… I cut branches from the invasive honeysuckle that needs to be cut down anyway .. and some little branches from a cedar tree .. and I had pinecones I collected already… and I made a wreath all by myself.. I didn’t even google it!! Ha! I’m so proud of myself. ❤️ #nerdscanbecreativetoo
We hung pinecones covered in peanut butter and rolled in bird seed.. then made popcorn cranberry garland and hung them on the trees outside for the birds. ❤️🎄🐦
It’s so nice outside today!! We had to take a walk thru the woods and enjoy the sunshine. ☀️

I put some of the gourds and baby pumpkins from the garden in this basket and made a little fall decoration. Yay! 🍁
The weather has warmed back up for now .. I’ve been trying to stay outside as much as I can .. while I can. I could sit here and watch these leaves fall for days 😍🍂☀️
