πŸ’• Hungry Birdies πŸ¦

I have to wait until the kitties take their naps to be able to get good pictures of the birds. Mostly bc they try to climb my legs and rub their heads on the camera tripod πŸ˜‚ but I was patient and got a few good pictures today.

🐱 Spoiled Rotten!! πŸ’•

Little bit showed up at the neighbor’s house one night in July last year. She was just a little baby. He brought her here in the rain around midnight asking if she was ours. He didn’t want to take care of her so I put her in the cat house and she started eating cat food like crazy. She was still here the next day and all she wanted was attention. The big cats are brothers and sisters and they pick on her (pretty sure she starts it most of the time) so she gets to stay inside now. She’s the sweetest little thing .. and now she’s an inside cat and spoiled rotten. πŸ’•πŸ±

πŸ’œ Coleus babies πŸ’š

Two years ago, the first thing I grew in my aero garden was coleus. I put them in two big pots outside and they grew so huge!! I brought them inside for the winter and they came back last spring. Last winter, they were in the little greenhouse when the top blew off and it got so cold, they didn’t make it. πŸ˜”
Once it started to warm up, I started seeing little babies in all my other pots.. the ones that died planted their seeds everywhere before they left! These are a few of their babies. Now they’re blooming and making seeds of their own. β€οΈπŸ’œπŸ’š

🌝 Last night’s Full Harvest Moon πŸŒ

🀩 The last super moon of 2023 🀩

πŸŒ• This final supermoon is called the Harvest Moon in the northern hemisphere because it occurs close to the September equinox.

πŸŒ• When people were harvesting by hand, this bright supermoon helped light up the evening after the Sun went down, which gave some much-needed extra time to get the harvest in before winter.

πŸ₯œ Peanuts and tiny carrots πŸ₯•

I’m pulling up peanuts and these tiny carrots today while I’m waiting to see tonight’s harvest moon. 🌝 πŸ₯œ πŸ₯•

The squirrels plant the peanuts for me every year so I’ll save some for them. 🐿️ 🀎

The squirrels are shaking the acorns out of the oak trees like crazy!! So I figured I’d collect a few tonight.. of course I left a ton for those crazy squirrels that steal seed from my birds.. that I secretly love.. let’s see if I can grow some oak trees! πŸΏοΈπŸ‚πŸ€Ž PS.. 5 of the kitties helped me.. I can’t do this all on my own πŸ±πŸˆπŸˆβ€β¬›πŸ˜»
